Nepal National Cricket Team to Tour Australia
An agreement has been signed between the Cricket Association of Nepal and Royal Heritage Australia to take the national cricket team to Australia and organize competitive cricket matches.
Bikrant Khanal, General Manager of CAN, and Swotantra Pratap Shah of Royal Heritage have signed the agreement.
The agreements stipulated that the Nepal national cricket team will visit Australia at least 10 days a year for at least three years, without affecting their functioning and international cricket calendar.
The Royal Heritage has committed to creating an environment where Nepal can play their match against the state team and Australia’s A team.
“We will send our team in 2022. Then we will decide if we should continue it for two more years or not. If there is no competitive team according to our level, then there is no point in the Australia tour,” said Bikrant Khanal.
Swotantra Pratap Shah of Royal Heritage said the purpose of the program is to increase harmony and brotherhood between the Australian team and Nepal in terms of cricket culture.
